We are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join our team focused on Delivering Solutions and Improving Lives.We are currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer or Project Manager to lead site development projects.Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to assess needs
  • Prepare proposals that include scope, schedule and fee for proposed projects
  • Prepare plans and reports required for the entitlement process
  • Prepare construction documents for building and grading permits
  • Manage a team of engineers
  • Develop relationships with clients
  • Assist clients with the permitting process
  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Prepare stormwater reports
  • Successfully interface with multi-disciplinary design teams, including civil site design, structural, surveying, and geotechnical engineering
  • Present to governing boards and city councils
  • Work with local and state regulatory agencies for project permitting, funding, etc.
  • Travel to project sites and client meetings, with occasional overnight staysQualifications
    • The successful candidate ideally has a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental engineering
    • Candidates must have at least 5-15 years of progressive design experience.
    • Strong communication and time-management skills are required.
    • PE licensure desired
    • Driver's LicenseSpecial Skills:
      • AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge and understanding preferred.
      • Local experience within Desert Cities in California preferred. Experience working in San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties is a plus.
      • Strong technical writing and communications skills are expected at this level, proven through technical presentations, technical papers and/or participation in technical committees.The pay range for this California position is $120,000- $135,000 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per California Senate Bill 1162. Base pay information is based on market location.
