Volt is immediately hiring for Pricing and Quotation Coordinator in
Valencia, CA.
As a Pricing and Quotation Coordinator you will:
Establish pricing for repeat business and new parts by
collaborating with estimating to gather accurate costs, determine
unit prices, and compare similar part prices while maintaining
required gross margins.
Assist Business Unit Managers in developing proposals by gathering
necessary information and data.
Process all bid approvals in accordance with approved Pricing
Guidelines.
Prepare proposal packages.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must wear steel toe shoes.
This is a Full-time, temp-to-hire, in-office only opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Broad knowledge of company functions, products, and manufacturing
processes for Aerospace.
Understanding of Aerospace procedures, policies, and marketing
strategies.
College degree or a minimum of 3 years of administrative support
experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in
pricing/contracts within the aerospace industry, or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Effective organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel.
Ability to perform well under pressure due to deadlines and handle
high-volume, fast-paced, short turn-around time customer and
management requests.
Adaptability to change and effective implementation of new
processes.
Pay Rate: $20 - $24 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
