Crohn's & Colitis Foundation - Greater Los Angeles-Orange County ChapterTo cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.Take StepsThe Foundation's largest fundraising campaign, Take Steps helps to accelerate the progress of breakthrough research and supports critical patient programs. We want to make Take Steps 2023 our biggest year yet and we need YOU to do that! Volunteers are the heroes behind the scenes working hard to help Foundation staff create a fun, engaging experience for our local Take Steps event. While there are many ways to volunteer with Take Steps, our greatest need is on event day. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Set-Up/Break down
• Handing out incentives
• Food/Beverage
• Registration/Check in
• Cheering on Participants
• AND MORE!Without our volunteers, we could not provide the highest level of support that the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) community deserves.About UsThe Foundation has been a leader in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research since our founding more than 50 years ago. We fund cutting-edge research studies and clinical trials at major medical institutions, and finance underdeveloped areas of research. We enthusiastically nurture investigators in the early stages of their career to help build the next generation of IBD researchers.
