This role plays a critical part in coordinating freight forwarding, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing logistics operations. • Shipment Coordination: Plan and manage domestic and international shipments via air, sea, and land, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and process essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Carrier Negotiation: Secure cost-effective freight rates by negotiating with carriers and logistics providers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade laws, customs procedures, and safety regulations.
• Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for customers, providing shipment updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving any logistics-related issues.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve shipment delays, damaged goods, and customs clearance issues.
• Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipment progress, generate logistics reports, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Inventory Coordination: Work with warehouses and logistics partners to manage inventory levels and optimize storage solutions.
• Cost Optimization: Monitor transportation costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure accurate billing.Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required.
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure competitive shipping rates.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
